I live year round in an RV camper trailer on remote property that I'm actively purchasing in Northeastern Michigan in the Huron National Forest. At the time of writing this review, I have lived here for at least 7 full years. I do have a legal water well installed to obtain safe potable drinking water from, I have a legal septic system installed, and I have legal electrical service installed. It is very wooded land all around here with trees that are between 60 feet to 100 feet high, and there are some fairly large rolling hills in and around my general area, too.Where I live, there isn't any cable TV providers that provide service to my area. There isn't any landline phone service provided here. There isn't any fiber optic phone or internet service provided here. There isn't any DSL service provided here. Literally the only ways to get internet and/or phone services here is from a satellite provider or from a terrestrial cellular network provider. I opted to get an unlimited plan from a cellular internet and phone service provider because of its convenience and portability, and because it is less expensive for me, compared to having satellite service here.However, getting a decent and a reliable cellular signal here from ANY cellular network provider is often very difficult for me here. Often times, I normally only get between 1 to 3 bars of 4G service on my smartphone and on my cellular connected tablet, and I rarely would get a 5G signal on either of them. Most of the time, the cellular internet data is very slow. Often times, it's very difficult to be on a phone call with someone and to use the internet at the same time with my smartphone. I found that the internet data was very slow while I'm on an active phone call at the same time as trying to use the internet.In the warmer months of the year, we have a lot of people that come to my area. Some have cabins here that they visit on weekends and on holidays. Others will bring their RV motorhomes or their RV camper trailers here and set them up in the numerous campgrounds that surround my general area. We get a lot of people here in the warmer months of the year, and that contributes to cellular network congestion, caused by so many people being connected to the towers at the same time here during the warmer months of the year. There has been many times that my cellular phone calls would drop, times that I can't make any phone calls out, and times that I cannot use the internet at all. It's been VERY frustrating and VERY inconvenient to me.I've never purchased or even ever used a cellular signal booster before. This is my first such purchase, and this is my first time experience ever using or ever installing such a device as this. I did do some online research to learn how to do this stuff. I first carefully read the instruction manual that came with this cellular signal booster. It claims that it needs to be registered with the cellular network provider for it to work. Currently, I am a very satisfied customer of T-Mobile USA, and this device is supposed to work on the T-Mobile USA network.I attempted to register this device online with T-Mobile, and it appeared to have accepted and taken the inputted information that I provided. However, something didn't seem or feel right to me, and I called the T-Mobile Customer Care center and I asked questions regarding how to properly register this product to their network. I was transferred to a Technical Support representative, and that person told me that T-Mobile doesn't allow for the registration of third-party devices such as cellular signal boosters anymore. T-Mobile doesn't provide their own cellular signal boosters for sale or for lease, either.Furthermore, if T-Mobile did provide for the registration of third-party devices, there would have been an activation fee for the device that would be due to front, too. Another thing that the Technical Support representative told me is to purchase a cellular signal booster that doesn't require to be registered to any network provider, and it should work just fine like that.I wasn't sure at that point, that the cellular signal booster that I already purchased would even work with my T-Mobile network provider, due to it not being able to be properly registered on the T-Mobile network. At first, I assumed that it wouldn't work at all. At first, I also assumed that I just blew and I just wasted $180 USD for nothing purchasing this device. At first I wasn't very happy with this purchase, but only due to my assumptions, and based on nothing else, and based on no real facts. At least my T-Mobile network provider knows that I'm attempting to use a cellular signal booster on their network, and they know the reasons why I can justify the use of it here. So it's not as if I didn't inform my cellular network provider ahead of time of what I'm trying to do and to achieve. I'm not about to pull any sneaky tricks on them or on anyone else, as I'm much too honest to do that nonsense.I finally thought to myself "What the heck...", and I decided to temporarily install the cellular signal booster as per the instruction manual. I followed the manual to the letter as best as I could. I at least wanted to try this device out and at least see if it will even work for me at all. You just never really know about some things, and if they will work or not, until you actually do try it out and test it.I setup the outdoor antenna so that it is approximately 5 to 6 feet above the ground, and I aimed the outdoor antenna in a very rough general direction of the cellular tower. I have the outdoor antenna set approximately 38 to 40 feet away from the indoor booster and it's indoor antenna. I mounted the booster and it's indoor antenna in a central location and at the highest place that I can install it inside of my RV camper trailer. I have a plastic table for outdoor use that has a hole in the center of it for an umbrella mast pole. I placed a short piece of galvanized 1- 1/2 inch diameter pipe into the hole of the plastic table to hold up that pipe. The outdoor antenna is mounted on that pipe. The outdoor antenna installation is far from being ideal or perfect. I just wanted a temporary installation to use to test this cellular signal booster kit. The indoor booster and the indoor antenna for it is placed behind the outdoor antenna, so that the back side or the rear of the outdoor antenna is facing the indoor booster and it's indoor antenna. This is to minimize the oscillation effect for the booster system. The oscillation effect will degrade the signals and cause interference with each other, and leads to call problems and leads to slow data speeds. So pay very careful attention to that!!! This is critical!!!After doing the temporary installation as I did, and it's far from being ideal and it's far from being perfect, I was VERY pleasantly surprised by the results!!! I was amazed that the cellular signal booster system actually does work, it works VERY well, and now I'm getting FULL BARS of 5G cellular signal on my smartphone and on my cellular connected tablet!!! Wow!!! I'm actually getting faster internet data speeds with this device setup as a temporary installation!!! This cellular signal booster definitely IS NOT registered to my T-Mobile network provider because they simply don't do that anymore, as I mentioned earlier. In spite of that, the cellular signal booster STILL WORKS, and IT WORKS VERY WELL!!!! I'm VERY impressed with it so far!!! The cellular signal booster does exactly what the manufacturer advertised it does. The installation should require two people, however I did it all alone and by myself with absolutely no difficulty whatsoever. The instruction manual is fairly well written and it is easily understandable.Being that I do have a conscience, and being that I do believe in being honest, I am required to admit when I am in the wrong, when I am in the wrong. I definitely was wrong in assuming that this cellular signal booster would not work on my T-Mobile network system, due to it not being able to be registered on the T-Mobile network system. This cellular signal booster STILL WORKS, and it definitely WORKS VERY WELL!!! So far, I am pleasantly VERY pleased and so far, I am VERY happy with this device.Now I am planning to upgrade to a more expensive and a very high gain directional outdoor antenna that will be permanently mounted onto a tall tower in my yard. I will also invest into some expensive low loss coaxial cable or hardline to use with this cellular signal booster. This will provide for more separation between the outdoor antenna and the indoor booster and it's indoor antenna, and it will provide me with an even stronger and an even more reliable signal from the cellular tower. The future is FINALLY looking MUCH brighter for me here now!!!The fact is that EVERYONE nowadays uses the internet, computers, and cellular devices, no matter where we live, be it in a big city or out in the remote forrest lands. We all need a reliable and a dependable terrestrial cellular signal for things to operate fast and smoothly, and that leads to a better quality of life in today's world with today's technology. It's also VERY important to keep up to date with all of this stuff as best as you can, too. Having internet service and having a phone is a necessity nowadays, and there's really no way to realistically get around any of it. This stuff has become a part of our daily lives and it's essential to have and it's a necessity now.People like me just want to live out and away from the big city life, and people like me don't really like to be in the mix with a large number of other people, and that is why some people like me chose to live remotely. We enjoy our personal spaces from other people, we enjoy our privacy from other people, and we also enjoy our quiet, peaceful and simple lifestyles. We are still people who truly do want to be connected to the world with a phone and with the internet, though. This cellular signal booster will keep people like me connected.I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the manufacturers of devices such as this because these kind of devices are VERY helpful to mankind. This device has drastically improved my phone and my internet abilities here and I'm very thankful and grateful for it. I would definitely recommend this product to my family and to my friends.
