Probably the nicest wireless charging solution for the iPhone family I have used (I used the Powermat for 4 and 5, previously)***AN IMPORTANT NOTE ON POWER SUPPLY***: The dock DOES NOT ship with an AC power adapter, the cord terminates in a USB connector. The small iPhone 6 AC adapter does not supply adequate current to reliably power the wireless charger. A phone will still chime to indicate docking but will then intermittently disconnect and reconnect (repeatedly chiming) and usually failing to maintain or charge up the phone. This was particularly frustrating because the system seemed to work sometimes, just not reliably. Another reviewer pointed out that the older, larger iPhone AC/USB adapters (with the fold out prongs) worked well. Once I made the switch the system has performed as expected.Overall a heavier/thicker case (+protection at the cost of weight and size) but a very nice handfeel (not too grippy, not too slick) compared to usual PU cases.Volume and power buttons feel a bit more distant/stiff because of overlying plastic, but raised contour on the case make them easy to navigate by touch.The wireless charging array slides out of the back of the case and phone connector jack a touch too easily, subtly disconnecting from the phone. It's a simple matter to check the components are snug when docking fails to chime...but I shouldn't have to. It's possible that repeated use will wear down the friction retention mechanics though I have very little occasion to remove the case since there is a pass through micro USB connection incorporated into the case (big thumbs up!)Case-cradle fit is enhanced by a gently beveled rim around the edge of the cradle but allows enough play that the wireless charging arrays may not match up or may get bumped out of alignment (not compatible with cats, toddlers, heavy clutter). In contrast, the old 4/4s powermat cradle was a true drop and forget it system)
