Garbage product, do not waste your money.I am a severe weather photographer, I needed a way to improve the quality of my connection in remote rural areas.The first unit I received, the green light came on, but there was no improvement in signal quality whatsoever. After troubleshooting, I brought the indoor and outdoor antenna next to each other. This should have triggered a blinking red light because it would cause a feedback loop. No such indication was given, the unit was defective.I received the replacement unit and found that yes, a feedback loop could be created. A signal was being received. However, it is not possible to space the interior and exterior antennas far enough apart to avoid a feedback loop, rendering the product useless.After hours of messing with different antenna positions, I was finally able to find a position on total opposite sides of the car. The antenna positioned on the rear bumper and the interior placed on the front hood by the headlights. This positioning obviously is not intended and cannot be used in any meaningful way, the product is useless. I did decide to at least check the signal quality. I was elated to find that with the unit powered on, my internet connection speed drops instead of improving.So, to conclude, when I finally did get the unit working in a completely unhelpful configuration, it actually made the signal worse. See my attached speed test results, it is striking how poorly my connection speed became after the unit was powered on.This product should not be made available for sale. It cannot work on a sedan because it is not possible to space the interior and exterior antennas far enough apart, and even if you could, it makes the signal significantly worse. It functions more like a signal jammer than signal booster.
