My 1 and 3-year old daughters love this music box. I purchased this item for my 3-year old daughter as a gift from the Pacifier Fairy who left it when she took away her pacifiers. My daughter loves the music, ballerina, mirror, and the "hidden" compartment so much that she doesn't mind giving up her pacifiers. She stores her hair accessories in it. Points: 1. Good quality will last for many years. I gave up visually interesting (from a little girl perspective) for lasting quality. I plan to have it personalized. 2. A little too heavy for her now. She can move it but can't carry. 3. Money well spent since this will outlast most of her toys. 4. I plan to purchase another for my 1-year old when the Pacifier Fairy visits her.
