I bought a used copy of this set back in 2016 and consider it one of the best purchases I have ever made. The performances range from good to outstanding. If you're an experienced collector, you might already own superior performances of a some of the more popular pieces, but many of these performances are top-drawer at any price, and you're never going to be able to collect Mozart's Complete Works by tracking down individual discs of every darn thing he ever wrote. Even Mozart's early works are well worth listening to, and it's fascinating to observe this precocious universal genius develop into a prolific master of so many genres during the course of his all-to-short life. Some highlights of the set for me include:1) Mozart's early operas. Even an extremely early work like Apollo Et Hyacinthus (K 38) is quite compelling.2) An excellent set of Mozart's piano concertos by Derek Han, Paul Freeman and the Philharmonia Orchestra3) Fine performances of Cosí Fan Tutti, Abduction from the Seraglio & Magic Flute4) The Church Sonatas (who knew they even existed, let alone that they were this good)5) The Violin Sonatas by Accardo & Canino6) The Piano Sonatas by Klára WürtzI haven't listened to everything, but it's nice to know it's all there.
