It seems stable enough in most scenario's when the umbrella is opened and the winds aren't greater than 20-25mph. Overall it's a good value proposition at this price point. Sand or water may be used to fill the container. I'm considering sand for this replacement stand. Although, filling & draining with water will make it easier if your store the unit indoors in the off seasons.Vicky Zhang, in customer service, made the warranty replacement process quick and painless. Thanks Again Vicky! There were only 5 adjustments instead of 6 in a previous model that we had. This was disappointing, but still nice umbrella. Haven't tried it yet on a windy day. We only use it for the tilt feature in the evening to shade our deck from the sun. Our deck gets very hot beginning at 4pm so this type of umbrella is definitely needed. We do not use a weighted base. We screw it to the deck support board and put a strap through the boards in one area. This worked will for our previous cantilever so we did the same with this one. I wish it came in black to match our other deck umbrella. Couldn't find a 11ft black cantilever anywhere. This can be put together very quickly, and it looks amazing. I didn't think I'd care about it being able to rotate but that's been really nice. The seller was great as well, I was missing a part and they were able to get it to me very quickly, so thank you.I had a small issue with the holes not exactly aligning with the umbrella base stand. I solved it by using a round metal file and enlarging the holes on the umbrella base stand to facilitate a fit to the plastic base. I contacted customer service and they were fantastic and willing to ship a new base right out. As I fixed it with a little work, I did not need a new base - still the amazing customer support is appreciated and rarely seen now days! Thanks LKINBO!(Please READ regarding the picture with the dent!) After purchasing new very expensive, high quality outdoor furniture - I wanted an umbrella that matched the Sunbrella fabric as closely as possible. I could not be more thrilled with the color match and this umbrella overall. It's very large, and the flexibility of the angles allows me to shade any portion of my patio. The vibrant blue is almost an IDENTICAL match to the cushions on my furniture. (Unfortunately, I only have a photo of it closed to share, but trust me - when opened it's gorgeous!).After setting it up, I realized there was a dent in one of the arms so I contacted the seller to determine if a replacement for that part (only) could be obtained as I didn't want the movement of the arms to be impacted. I received a response within a matter of hours asking for a picture of the damaged part and my phone number. Within that same day, I missed a few calls from an overseas number - but received an email from the seller apologizing for the damaged arm, and advising that an ENTIRE NEW UMBRELLA was being shipped - AND there was no need to return the first one, "hold onto it as an extra if you need one". I didn't ask for a replacement and never expected this response, was only looking to replace the damaged piece. This is the absolute best customer service I have experienced in.... well, I don't know how long. This company truly cares about their customers as well as their reputation - which isn't common these days. I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone I can. LKINBO Leisure - THANK YOU!11' beige, round cantilever umbrella - also purchased the LKINBO hollow plastic base. Pictorial instructions were easy to follow. Best to have 2 people lift the umbrella onto the base. It's top-heavy. If you purchase the plastic base, the cross legs which come with the umbrella are not used. The umbrella post bolts directly onto threaded holes which are part of the plastic base. We've opted to fill the base with water so we have the option of more easily emptying it than if we'd used sand. We'll drain a little out come winter to allow for freezing / expansion. Or we may just empty it altogether. For extra weight, we've placed two 50 lb sand bags on top of the base. So far, we're very pleased with this purchase.I am pleased with this umbrella. It was straightforward to install and it is very sturdy. I live near the coast in Florida and I really like the fact that when a significant storm is coming, I can remove two threaded knobs and lift the umbrella off of the base and take it in.I am less of a fan of the base. Cosmetically, the base is brown, but the 2 metal plates that connect the two halves together are white and don’t blend in at all. Also, I have other brands of umbrellas with similar bases. All of those bases have wheels on both sides of the base which makes them easy to move. This base has the spots for wheels on both sides but only has the wheels installed on one side. This umbrella is great quality and we easily installed it on our deck. I really like the click in place technology. Great value for the cost.
