Product Description Scotch Box Sealing Tape 372 is a medium performance packing tape that securely closes a wide variety of medium weight box materials, including recycled fiberboard. The polypropylene film backing is easy to unwind and resists abrasion, moisture and scuffing. The backing easily conforms around edges and on rough surfaces for a tight seal. From the Manufacturer Scotch® Box Sealing Tape 372 securely closes double and triple walled corrugated cartons, including those with high recycled content, saving time and reducing closure failures. The moisture-resistant polypropylene backing resists abrasion, chemicals and scuffing to hold strong throughout the shipping process. It easily conforms around edges and on rough surfaces for a strong seal. This tape is suitable for use on single and double-wall regular slotted containers (RSC) weighing up to 100 lbs.Scotch® Box Sealing Tape 372 features a biaxially oriented polypropylene backing with pressure-sensitive rubber resin adhesive. It is 2.2 mils thick with adhesion of 45 oz/in width, tensile strength of 26 lbs/in and elongation at break of 160%. The tape offers the highest edge tear and split resistance in the polyester tape line.
