My master cylinder on my 1998 Ford Taurus had seized and fluid was going into my booster. I replaced it with this one and so far it appears to be working well. For anyone wondering how to get the old booster out and put the new one in on a car like mine: you will need to take off the windshield wiper cowl and even the wiper motor and then pull this UP and then outwards. (along with taking out the master cylinder and a few other things in the front of it) It will not come out if you don't take out the cowl. Also, you may need to bend a few of the 4 bolts with a pipe, because two of them were pointing a bit too high and weren't fitting through my car chassis.
