Overall I am very pleased with the umbrellas (I ordered 3). High quality materials, easy assembly (although heavy!), responsive customer support and they look great. Very minor concerns with the longevity of the solar panel (one of the few plastic components) and the color of the cover (only tan). More details below.1) Delivery was faster than expected (2 days), drivers messaged me via the app to arrange delivery, boxes arrived undamaged2) Assembly was easy. I was able to assemble each umbrella myself in about 30 minutes. I am an average sized guy (5'9") and decently strong so I was able to lift and insert the umbrellas myself. I would recommend 2 people if you are smaller3) Umbrella materials are great. Fabric is thick, pole aluminum is well designed and solid. I believe all of the moving parts are metal as well which is better than many umbrellas that have plastic caps. LED lights in the umbrellas ribs look really nice, more of a "neutral" color (3509k), not warm or bright white. I am concerned the solar panel (plastic) won't last more than a couple seasons though.4) Opening/closing mechanism is very smooth. You do need to make sure to wiggle the arms a bit when opening initially to make sure they don't get a little stuck closed. I have also noticed that sometimes the corner arms can get caught on furniture when opening/closing so just be aware and move furniture and glasses out of the way. The 360 rotation is super smooth even my 3 and 5 year old kids can do it (I don't keep the bottom crank in place so they can't accidentally knock stuff over)5) Cover is well designed, it has a foldable pole that you insert into the cover so you don't have to get on a chair or ladder to cover the umbrella. As other reviewers have said the cover is Tan colored (we ordered grey umbrellas). Not a big deal for me as I plan on only using the covers during bad weather or when we travel.6) Customer support was very responsive. There were not enough grey umbrellas in stock on their website so they pointed me to Amazon. Response time was within 12 hours.7) umbrellas bases (black water filled) are ordered separately. They are well made, no issues with leaking although I did get a hose stuck inside for a bit while filling and wasted a bit of water. Strong plastic smell from inside, but that goes away once you close it. Bases are big and I will probably find a way to build a table around it. I may end up putting bases into the ground.8) We have had ~15 mph winds and the umbrellas barely moved. I will still lower them when winds are stronger, but it's a good signAfter a long exhausting search for two grey cantilever square umbrellas, based on good reviews I ordered these Purple Leaf umbrellas. One came in a damaged box and when we opened the box to install them a small piece was cracked. I contacted the company and they were wonderful. They sent me the new part and communicated with me even after I received it.The umbrellas are made very well and are very easy to open, tilt and rotate. They are just beautiful!I would highly recommend Purple leaf for quality and customer service.This is a great high quality umbrella. It was easy for me to set up and put up and down. It’s a bit pricey but it seems to be worth it. I don’t like how a base is not included in the price. It gets pretty windy here in Colorado and the wind likes to swivel the umbrella a bit which can be a little annoying. I would like it better if you could lock the swivel in place. Overall, it’s an awesome umbrella with really nice looking lights integrated. You won’t be disappointed.The 10 foot square umbrella is very sturdy. Our patio is on the 7th floor and there is plenty of wind but the umbrella handles most days. We don’t use it if it is too windy and always close it when not in use. We bought the 32” base and filled it with only water, prepared to fill it with sand if necessary. But the base is very heavy filled with only water. I might buy another one.I was trying to find an umbrella that can be more wind-resistant. The double-top design from Purple Leaf seems to be a better solution since it may alleviate strong wind conditions. Most of the similar products out there are not double-top. The quality of the material is also very good (I still recommend closing the umbrella after each use if it is possible and it is pretty easy to do.) Installation is pretty straightforward. Two people should be able to do it. The buyer needs to make sure to buy the base and it is a separate item that is clearly stated. in the production description on Amazon and their website. Some negative comments related to this are unfortunate. The led light is beautiful in the evening and I am glad that I spent a bit more on the feature otherwise I would need to figure out to install additional lighting on the patio. The customer service was great, they mailed me an umbrella cover that matches the color of the umbrella. Also, the delivery could be scheduled for different times during the day (no signature needed though) and the packaging was very good too. I have 11 x 11 but I felt that 10 x 10 might be enough and it is almost $200 cheaper. I live in Texas, so I got a black color after a bit of research.Just put it up yesterday so I can't really review the sturdiness yet however install was fairly easy per the hubby. ?Install solar panel on top and remove all styrofoam/bubble wrap while lying flat BEFORE placing it upright or you'll need to take it back down because it won't be able to open.PurpleLeaf, shame on you for not including the same color cover. Black umbrella, beige cover...thumbs down!Solar or NO Solar? Definitely worth the extra money to get the lights!! Amazing coverage for our rooftop deck! YOLO!The umbrella has worked fantastic. Regrettably the cover that comes with is is not of good quality to last outside in weather elements. Within a year it’s torn and has become useless.Wir haben den Schirm Mittwoch Abend bestellt und Freitag war er schon da. Auf gut Glück haben wir uns dazu den "Schneider Universal-Bodenanker, zum Eingraben" bestellt und sie passen zusammen! :) Der Schirm ist auch mit Bodenanker weiterhin um 360 Grad drehbar. Er macht einen sehr guten und stabilen ersten Eindruck. Er lässt sich leicht öffnen, schräg stellen und drehen. Die Kurbel zum Drehen machen wir nach dem Drehen aber ab, da er sich so leichtgängig dreht, dass das Eigengewicht der Kurbel ihn auch weiter drehen kann. Das ist aber kein Problem, da die Kurbel oben die gleiche wie unten ist und beide abnehmbar sind. So nutzen wir erstmal nur eine Kurbel und behalten die zweite auf Vorrat!Nach einem jahr schutz Hülle defekt.Was bei uv schutz wie beschrieben nicht der fall sein sollteNachlieferung trotz grantie nicht erfolgt.Schade eigentlichFur den preis bitte nicht kaufenArticle defectueux au niveau de la toile.....le Sav reactif dans un premier temps propose une toile de remplacement.....jusque la tout va bien....sauf que le delais de livraison est juste interminable et le pompon sur la garonne c est que la nouvelle toile aura elle aussi un souci....d attache cousues au mauvais endroit...agacee par ces problèmes au regard du prix, du manque de qualité je demande un geste commercial pour arreter les degats....et hop le SAV fait le sourd jusqu'a la publication de mon avis....... Apres cela ils ont été arrangeant et soucieux de me satisfaire. Cependant parasol tres pratique et qui semble robuste.Hyper facile à installer, à utiliser, à ranger !
