Install was easy even for a 70 year old man. The only issue I had was I was using a 3" pipe for the control arm and the install kit was only for a wooden post. I tried using 3" u bolts to make the attachment. I tighten them and thought it would work. The wind kept moving the gate and the u bolts keep slipping so the gate wouldn't close all the way because of it. I didn't see any u tube videos where the were attaching on a round metal post. I went back to amazon and finally found a piece that make for attaching to a 3" or 4" post. Ordered it (AX3R) and it worked perfectly. I drilled all the way thru the pipe and using the long bolts that came with the install kit. It worked perfectly and it didn't slip anymore.Great product and the customer service people were very helpful.
