The pellets are whole specimens - not bits and pieces, heat treated and foil wrapped. These jumbo grade pellets are 2 in. and larger and can contain up to 6 prey remains. The pellets are packed in a sturdy 1 gallon bucket with lid for convenient storage between classes. Mountain Home Biological has been supplying pellets since 1994. All pellets are sorted, dried, heat treated and wrapped in our facility in White Salmon, Washington and monthly samples are submitted to an independent lab for testing. Soak pellet in water for 2-3 mintues prior to dissecting.
