I don't wear boots a lot because I live in Florida, but we still get chilly weather a few times a year and I'm someone that wants to have a comfortable and warm pair of boots when that type of weather hits. I also have issues with planter fasciitis, so any old boot won't do. These are so comfortable and warm. They provide great comfort and support for my feet. I can walk with them on and my feet are not hurting by the end of the day. I will say that they are very soft and warm. If you have feet that tend to sweat, just keep that in mind. When I wear mine it's usually for a quick errand, not all day use. This boots legit healed my feet. I either broken or sprained my foot and dealt with so much pain for weeks after. I teach preschool so I'm on my feet a lot. Finally I researched supportive shoes and found these and after wearing them for a few days the pain was GONE. They fit perfect and are so comfy and are also extremely cute...strangers have asked me about them and complimented them. Now that winter is over I need warm weather shoes so I am going to invest in more shoes from this company because I tried to go back to my old shoes and they were soooo not comfy. So I have spoiled my feet and I'm not going back!! Highly recommend these boots!I got big ol ankles and calves. I have been unable to buy boots for ages and ages even at big box stores and specialty department shops! But these not only fit, they also are comfy and useful for bad weather. I do recommend spraying them with some water-proofing treatment just to aid with snow not soaking through their soft fabric exterior . I also can't really wear fluffy or thick socks with them unless I want my toes to be all squished, so I would recommend buying a size up if you plan on only wearing them with those. As for me, I can just slip them on with a small ankle sock and go about my snow day! Yay!Comfy boots arrived with arch inserts and some pads to put in if your foot slips. I wear size 10 but ordered size 10.5 so I could wear thick socks with them if I want. I put the pads and arch supports in them. The pads help foot slide if not wearing thicker socks as I ordered a half size up. As warm as they are probably don’t need thicker socks unless your outdoors for awhile. They are cute, warm, soft. But a little too narrow for my instep/width with no give and they slide at my heel. I used them for a couple quick trips to the store. I am hard to fit, I have a wide foot, high instep and high arch combined with Fibro and Planter Fascitis - I just hoped XW and Velcro and adjustable fit would of been the answer but it’s not going to work out just not quiet wide enough.I got these for my mother whose ankles are swollen all the time. They fit her ankles and were very comfortable for her to wear. I would recommend for people with swelling problems which is how I found them to begin with.I have one "hammertoe" on my left foot. This is a calcium deposit at the joint which causes the toe to bend and extend up "just enough" such that it rubs on the inside of the upper of a shoe. I've had this problem for about 5 years, which makes buying comfortable (tolerable) shoes.I can no longer wear heels or even most flats. I have to be extremely careful as to which shoe. I tend to get a shoe that has a "stretchable" upper in hopes that it will expand enough to allow for my "crazy" toes. I know I'm not the only one with this condition. Some folks choose to have surgery or have that toe(s) removed. I chose to do neither...but keep looking for shoes that will work for me.A couple years ago, while at a couple different department stores that each had lots of boots, I tried on every pair in hopes of finding one that would work. NO LUCK!I'd heard of this company, and finally decided to give them a "try". I typically wear a size 7 or 7.5 W. For this, I ordered an 8.5 W. They fit PERFECT!Size is exact fit which I appreciate because I don't like hassle of exchange although they have return policy and the return label was in the box. I wish they give little bit better support, it is decent but I had better. If after using it for awhile I change my mind, I will adjust this review. They are not waterproof either but they don't claim they are. It just would be more practical if they are waterproof since they are boots.Pas confortable du tout ....et très cher
