The 5 lbs vest comes with Hyper Vest FIT shell and 10 plastic weights filled with steel shot equaling 5 lbs. An additional 3 lbs box (6 weights total) is available to purchase separately for a max weight of 8 lbs when added to the 5 lbs vest. An 8 lbs vest is available which includes a Hyper Vest FIT shell and 16 plastic weights filled with steel shot equaling 8 lbs. Each weight is compact and removable, about the size of a deck of cards- remove weights to wash vest. One size does not fit all so the Hyper Vest FIT is available in size small, medium or large with roomie scoop neck and adjustable side laces. Since weights are removable the weight is completely customizable from 1/2 lbs to 8 lbs in half pound increments.
