the vacuum switch supplied in the kit does not work, being a vacuum switch, the circuit should be normally closed. the switch is on the ground side of the relay. when pump gets to a predetermined vacuum level the contacts open which ungrounds the relay, and shuts the pump off. the vacuum switch i got does not create a ground for the relay, so the pump will not run unless i physically ground it. Also, the wiring in the pigtail for the relay was incorrect . Two wires had to be swapped just to get the relay to function. ( the schematic is printed right on the relay) i would have contacted the supplier directly, but you cant do that through amazon. Attempted to contact them several times. they ignore you. In the beginning they said i could get a partial refund if i file a claim form, but they wont give me said claim form.
