This two-piece closure bolt is for 2 3/8" and 2 3/4" backset doors with jambs up to 1 1/4" thick, right or left hand swing. It can be used on interior doors and exterior doors to eliminate sag and to secure the door from manufacture through installation.
A unique ratcheting feature reduces any chance of vibrating loose during shipment
The two-piece closure requires a 1" diameter or a 3/4" X 1" rectangular hole through the jamb
The barrel section can be left in place for alignment during installation or during construction to act as a temporary latch until hardware is installed
Barrel can also be used to stabilized double and sidelight doors
