When a woman hits menopause, it’s likely that many fabrics are scratchy on her skin due to loss of elasticity and collagen. The scarf thickness is light to medium weight but mostly light weight. The cabling pattern is only on one side of the scarf so if you want that side to show, you will need to carefully arrange it.The color of eggplant is beautiful and makes my green eyes brighter. It is a rich deep color and not a fluorescent like hue. The scarf keeps me warm but I was looking to soothe the painful scratching on my neck which it did. For that reason, I think this scarf is a good value for the money. Plus, I have seen these types of scarves charged at double the price of these scarves.
