Update: The top of the umbrella wiggles quite a bit at the tilt joint, when it's not tilted. The sound is annoying, but no biggee if it holds up. (This is happening in a light breeze below 5 mph) Original review: I just received the 7.5-foot, red umbrella. So far, it's great! The color is vibrant, and setup was extremely easy. (I'm 61, with not great upper body strength!) I thought a 7.5-foot umbrella might be easier to manage on a 4th floor balcony than my 9-foot umbrella had been, and it is! Having power switches for the lights on one of the ribs, rather than on the pole, is not ideal. Not a biggee. The umbrella came with an insert recommending that it be sprayed with UV protection, and covered with a hood when not open. The description on Amazon had said that its fabric offered "ultimate UV protection," the insert suggestions sound good. I've ordered the spray, and I already have a hood. This replaces an umbrella that was less expensive but held up really well over 4 years, fading only after I stopped using the hood in SoCal full sun. For the replacement, I wanted to try the smaller size. I hope this one is as sturdy! I'll update the review in a few months with info on fading and durability, including performance in a breeze (the info that came with it said to close it in anything more than 5 mph).This is the second one I ordered. The color is beautiful and the solar lights are perfect!!We needed an umbrella for our patio and I wanted one that also had lights on it. There are many choices out there…some great and some not great. I wasn’t wanting to spend a ton of money but I wanted something quality that would last a while. After reading TONS of reviews I settled on this. I’m glad that I did.Pros: seems sturdy and well made, love the lights…they aren’t too white and put out enough light on a dark night, have had it up for a while and it has not faded even in the harsh Oklahoma sun, has a Velcro tie so you can tie it up at night, has a security pin so it doesn’t collapse on youCons: pin is kinda high and I can’t reach, same for the tilt featureAll in all, I am so glad I bought this patio umbrella.My only complaint is that the seams appear to very loose. For the price well worth the money. Lights work great and extremely sturdy if assembled with table correctly.Lights are a nice warm white. Red is a really bright red. I was looking for a burnt red, but still like it. Not sure how it will hold up.I purchased two of these umbrellas and I am very happy with the look and quality. I cannot comment on the durability of the lighting since I only just received this item, but I hope they hold up, because I am otherwise very pleased with them.All goodThis is my third umbrella for our table at the pool. What I like best is there is no wobble to it in small winds. All the other always had wobble to it, this is built sturdier. Like it very much.
