Very nicelooks great works great what should have taken 20 minutes to put together took about an hour. two sets of the holes did not match and had to use clamps and body weight to get them close to screw made it work and once together works fine and looks great. Other than the fittings everything is perfect. which is the only reason I am giving it a 4.I got the gray and the bed is dark gray in the front and back, light gray on the sides. Looks obvious from the side but to go through taking it apart or returning and exchanging is too much for me so I settled.Easy to assemble unless you get rails with poorly aligned holes. One one rail, two of four bolts aren't functional for stability- one appears to have arrived stripped- bolt won't thread at all and pulls out by hand like a peg. Another on opposite end of rail only advances 2/3 the stops and just spins- won't catch. Poor QA- I'd definitely return it if I weren't desperate for a bed. Hope it holds adult kid.My preference would be to receive a single replacement rail.TL,DR- only order this if you have time to return itI loved the platform, it's much firmer that another type that I purchased one year +. The only issue was the directions were poor, it was difficult to follow but eventually figured it out not following Amazon directions, but I will still give it a 5 star because it was very firm and most importantly, I was looking for firmnessOrdered a California King and we are missing 2 legs and there are only 4 hex screws. This isn't enough to hold a CA King.Plus the bed frame doesn't line up as in the discription, and are different color materials, the wood slats are too short and when we put the mattress on, one side came off completely.I had high hopes as the discription and photos are just what we were looking for, but really felt like something we would have gotten from Wish and not Amazon.SturdyThe frame is good but the thing on top is not good it don’t even fit the bed. It’s a waste of money I pay 200 dollar for a piece of trash.
