Great roasted neck for the money.I got it before summer humidity hit New England and my Cape Cod peninsula. Took some significant work to securely reseat the lifting frets and get them to stay in place. Once it got a little hot and humid it was much easier to tap them back down and get them to stay down. Most replacement necks do better with some fret work done by a professional luthier. Even ones that might cost hundreds of dollars. I’ve been to busy with gigs and fixing everyone else’s guitars to finish mounting this on my own project but I’ve got over 30 years of working on thousands of guitars and this is an excellent deal for the price. I will follow up when I finally get the chance to finish and play it for a while. The finish is enough to seal the wood. It could be turned into a satin finish easily.
