I like everything about itCaution; I filled these weights with water from my garden hose. The end of the hose fit into the opening of the weight. These are made from a plastic or PVC material. 3 of the weights filled easily. 1 of the weights the hose end fit tightly into the opening..... so tightly that it trapped the air inside when filling and pressurized the unit so much so that it blew a hole in the plastic and water came out. My fault, but wow, who would think. Anyway, I am sealing the hole with Flexsteal liquid cement. That should work.This base is specifically made for heavy offset patio umbrellas and their crossbar bases. It is easily set up. When the four parts are empty they are light and easy to move around with the handle that is cut into the bottom. They can be filled with sand, water or both through the spout which seals with a twist cap. The weight, once full, should range from 33 lbs a piece to 50 lbs a piece totaling between 120 and 200 lbs so it is sturdy. They are easily filled with water. Once filled and set up the included pins keep the necessary pressure and distance to support crossbar bases. They can store stacked or upright when not in use. I gave 4 stars because if they are filled with water only they are not as heavy as they could be but filling them with sand can be a long chore.Worked perfectFilled our four bases with water, which was more than enough support for the 10' cantilever umbrella, also by MEWAY. I would imagine that at the end of the summer, these will stack easily for storage until another summer rolls around. Quite satisfied.Needs more weight to hold down the umbrella when it is opened. Easy to assembleThis was supposed to be compatible to the umbrella I purchased but the metal clamps that hold the squares together are too far apart
