After watching Steve which I am sure everyone who would buy this product know, I had a lot of success getting these MREs to taste good. This was exactly what I was expecting. I ate these over the coarse of months as they have a huge carb load. So use these on a day your going to work out or go on a 10 mile hike or are solo surviving in the woods for a week.I was surprised to get a name brand every once in a while. I would note that the different vendors for beverages offered varying levels of quality for their products. There were 2 items that stood out to me. For hot beverages there is an hour glass shaped package which you fill with hot water and shake. Those tasted good and mixed well. For cold beverages, there were the low sugar sticks that you mix with water and they dissolved really well. The larger package cold beverages usually clumped when mixed in cold water. They mixed better with lukewarm water and melted with hot water.I only had 2 packaging errors in the entire run. The flameless ration heater wasn't sealed on one. On another, the seal for the condiments went through a couple of them.
