Great piece of equipment for metal detecting in the southwest desert. Being able to hear what is going on around you is a lot safer. The smaller size of Mohave rattlers and Speckled rattlers makes their rattle softer and higher pitched than the bigger Diamondback rattlers and I think, a bit harder to hear.
