This extra STRONG, ? 3 support -top, MASSIVE deck or patio umbrella is perfect and, by far, the best made, beautiful and definitely sturdiest umbrella we've purchased yet! We bought 2 umbrellas from a different store, in retrospect wasn't sturdy enough for the winds we endure at our deck height. Both umbrellas easily were swept away by a storm with moderate to severe wind strength. ⛈️?️?We definitely wanted our newest and LAST umbrella to come from Amazon Prime because it's the only place where u can customize most purchases. For example, we already had the stand from our last umbrella so our goal this time was to possibly buy one WITHOUT a stand which WAS EXCLUSIVELY POSSIBLE with Amazon!! ?☺️We were so thrilled to be able to customize our new umbrella which helped with the pricing as well! ? IMPORTANT: (PLEASE check ur existing stand pole diameter, if own already, and patio table pole hole circumference so u chose the correct sizes for EVERYTHING before finalizing ur purchase.)This specific umbrella is completely compatible with my already existing stand pole and patio table hole, which is 2 inches!! PLEASE read ALL product info and specifications before final check out!)IMPORTANT: UMBRELLA POLE/STAND DIAMETER SIZES MAY DIFFER AND ARE NOT STANDARD LIKE SOME PEOPLEMIGHT ASSUME! Typically "standard" poles are about 1 and 1/2 inch or 1 and 3/4 inch. This particular umbrella (2 inch pole diameter) is quite big with a much stronger AND thicker pole to withstand very windy conditions. Umbrella top also has little air vents that prevent strong winds from lifting umbrella out of the pole and being destroyed. (which actually happened to our last umbrella.) The price of a larger, sturdier umbrella and pole isn't much more than other smaller and flimsier umbrellas. From my experience, bigger and stronger umbrellas (with at least a 2 inch pole diameter) are DEFINITELY the better choice! ??U won't be disappointed! ☺️???❤️
