I looked at many different options and ultimately decided on the SK Modular Stackable Storage system.I purchased the dolly and several boxes, and I'm writing about all of these components together.This is the most flexible and most cost-effective storage option I could find. It's different from the other major options, and more suitable for my needs. My plan is to use them for small parts storage, but its flexibility will allow me to use it for anything. I can easily see these lasting my whole life and probably serving many different roles.The soft-close drawers on smooth slides are amazing in this price range. Every other metal tool box option I found in this price range has cheaper drawer sliders. These, in contrast, feel like the drawers on a large, high end tool chest.The boxes stack/connect very easily and they disconnect just as easily too. I'm impressed by that. In fact, I'm impressed by the overall build quality and functionality.For reference, my main tool box is Snap-On. I also have several fairly new Husky boxes (e.g., the 72" one with the adjustable height top). My worst tool boxes, sadly, are two new Craftsman I bought this year. I'm not happy with those. But I am extremely happy with these small, modular SK boxes. They exceed my expectations.(BTW, I had saved the shipping boxes in anticipation of returning these to Amazon if I did not like them. After seeing and using them, you could not pry them away from me. Absolutely will NOT be returning them!)I hope this perspective is helpful to you!
