DO NOT BUY THESE PLATES!!!! Although they look good when they arrived, three of the 12 plates have cracks in them after using them for less than one month for serving meals on and then cleaning them in the dishwasher -- just normal, everyday usage. The cracks are all similar in each plate. They are curved in length and run about one-quarter to one-third of the size of the plate and are located on the flat part of the plate's center -- about an inch away from the inside edge of the rim. It looks to me like the cracks are occurring where the rims attach to the flat centers of the plates. I called Amazon customer service for a full refund. Yes, they granted that to me because I happened to call one day before the 30-day refund policy expired, and, yes, Amazon is paying for the return shipping. However, I was required to pack up and return to Amazon the nine plates that have not cracked -- so far. What angers me is that if I had called anytime after the 30-day return policy expired, I wouldn't be entitled to a full refund, even those these plates are junk. Who knows when any or all of the remaining nine plates will start cracking? Plates are supposed to last for years, even decades or generations. These are pure junk. Don't waste your money or your time. Very disappointed in the poor quality of these plates.
