I may have been lucky but mine looked like it was a new part, maybe a takeoff from a very new car or an incredibly good job rebuilding it.It was an almost perfect fit into the original location and I’ve had it on now for a couple of months and still working perfectly. The only change I had to do was slightly bend the tail light activator plunger mount forward about 1/8”. That was a simple fix with some pliers and a little strength.I bought it for a 2007 Jeep Wrangler (JK) and the only difference from the original part is that the two bolts that stick out front to hold the master cylinder are not as long. I had an ARB compressor mounted with the bracket that connects to those two bolts and I had to change it out for the compressor mount that installs to the two bolts on the firewall that hold the power booster bracket.The core return was simple just go to the cardone website, fill out the form and drop off the box at the UPS store. The check arrived in about 7-8 weeks.
