They're fine headphones. They do what they're supposed to and the optional noise cancellation is really convenient and effective. You are going to drown in the music in the best possible way. JBL has a reputation for amazing sound quality, and these headphones aren't any exception. The over-the-ear design is really comfortable for extended listening. I could sit at my desk all day with them on and have no discomfort whatsoever. And this means a lot to me because my ears are physically sensitive (like wearing facemasks can get uncomfortable after an two hours and painful after three).I really don't like that they will disconnect themselves from my phone or laptop at random points in time. It disrupts my listening experience and I can't figure out why this happens/how to stop it.These headphones also have blips of no sound when you move around in them too hard. This stinks because I'll turn the volume up and jam out, just to be in and out of sound when I headbang.The headphones have added bass to them that REALLY kicks. As a music listener, I love them! As a music producer, I hate them. Definitely wouldn't suggest this for music producers and audio engineers because the enhancements can't be changed and you won't hear the audio as it was created to sound.I would really wish that these headphones could auto-power-off themselves after being idle for some time. The battery last for a very long time, but it's no point if I go to use them and realize they've been on for the last 6 hours. You'd be surprised how easy it is to leave the headphones on when you think you'd come back to them later. It makes me nervous because the way I keep draining them will decline the battery life quicker.The fold-in design isn't really practical for me. It should have a little bit of resistance when you want to fold them in, to make sure users are intentionally folding them when they want to. If you just hold the headphones, the ear pieces just dangle since there isn't any resistance. It makes them look frail and easy to break. I don't like that.For what they do audio-wise, it is worth the money. You will like how they sound. For the tech engineering and design, more bad than good for me. Enough to not recommend them to others, but not enough to immediate replace them myself. If I were you, I would look for some higher-end JBL products. They'll more likely be built better than these and have the same sound quality (if not better).
