Arrived early. Good quality. They are two separate pieces. Ordered a second set. Issue for elderly people is climbing in and out of beds. This lowered ours 4 inches eliminating use of a stool to get on and off. My first box was identified as a door so there was confusion. The box was treated roughly and I hoped the box springs survived. They did. The second box came in two days ago and in much better condition. Will open when weather improves to switch the high to this low box spring. So far, we are pleased.
