This jewelry box is very large and attractive. However, the locking mechanism in the lid was smashed when I received it. Because the jewelry box was out-of-stock, this item couldn't be replaced. (I was given the option to return it. I believe that Amazon did what they could for me and have no complaint about Amazon.) I contacted Novica, the seller, directly and asked them to send me a replacement for the broken part of the lock, which they wouldn't do because I had ordered it from Amazon. I can see that they sell jewelry boxes made by the same person with the same lock that is on the one that I bought. I am disappointed that this simple matter couldn't be taken care of by Novica.
