This device allows you to connect directly to some newer Hearing Aids. This allows a user to try their own programming. The device itself is seamlessjust plug it into your USB port. Have been using for several months with no issues at all. Very satisfied. Note that this only enables your PC to "talk" to some Hearing Aids. You MUST have and know how to use the specific software for your aids. Just search "DIY" Hearing Aids for more help.
