Absolutely a must. I will never buy regular paper towels ever again. It's really all purpose . Excellent for cooking and patting dry your meat. BEST AND CHEAPEST ALL PURPOSE TOWELS FOR THE HANDYMANI don't suppose that paper towels that look tough are a lot different than those that don't, but I felt pretty good about tackling tough jobs with this towel that I'd probably feel less secure using the white ones on the roller in the kitchen. For example, cleaning up grease spots on my workbench or cleaning up a bathroom sink and shower after using heavy powder cleaners like Ajax has turned regular paper towels into shredded rags. Would the same be true with WypAll L10 Disposable Wipers? After testing the towels on both projects--sink and workbench--I found that they held up just fine and did not dissolve or tear when using powerful cleaners that strongly suggest wearing rubber gloves when applying.Seizing the opportunity, my wife suggested a number of projects to try out the towels on for a thorough review. In the back of our house we have a large picture window that looks over a small meadow, a woods and a pond. From this view we watch the seasons and various and sundry critters from the woods and sky. We like to keep it clean so that we miss nothing. The outside takes a scrubbing wand and squeegee with liberal amounts of water, and the inside requires window cleaner and a paper towel. One of the problems that other paper towels have had with window cleaning is that something that goes into the makeup of the towel mixes with the window cleaner and tends to leave a filmy residue. The window is clean, but the residue is visible, and so my hope was that this towel would not leave the residue. Unfortunately, it did. So while it was gang-busters on the tough jobs, it did not prove to be the cleaning towel I'd hoped for when it comes to window-cleaning.I like the handy Kleenex type pull-out for the towels. Roll towels can easily get knocked over and roll around the garage or other work places, but the boxed ones are easy to keep in place and retrieve single sheets. So for tough jobs, I highly recommend these towelsThese disposable wipes are a practical solution for your workshop or office space. These are the same wipes they market under various labels towards agricultural and industrial operations. They are thin but high quality paper towels. As such they have more durability than regular kitchen paper towels, and can be used to clean up heavier bigger messes.Each individual box is listed as containing 125 wipes. They are folded together so the box acts as a dispenser, similar to a Kleenex tissue box. Each sheet measures 9 inches by 10.25 inches, but they will typically be used folded because they are so thin.The L10 grade is actually the lowest of the various professional grades sold. So if you need an even more durable disposable towel, you can look into L20, L30, all the way up to X90. Also of note is that these towels are made in the USA, although they do use imported tree stock and paper pulp.CONCLUSIONThis is a quality product. Although it does come at a premium, these towels perform better than regular paper towels. They can also be used multiple times if you are just using them for household cleaning. They are definitely worth trying.Good wipe. Not a whole lot to say. Pretty solid, picked up some pretty nasty food in the kitchen cleaning out a fridge and dust outside in my garage. Didnt fall apart on me. Just a good all around wipe.They come out to be right around 9 dollars a box, there are a lot in there. A little on the expensive side for throwaways but they last longer then paper. It would probably be equal in the end to the amount of paper towels you would use but if you get these things you would save the trash.They worked for what I used them for. Price would be the only reason I would not get them more in the future.These rough and tumble wipes are about the size of your usual shop "paper towel". They come in an industrial-type dispenser box of 125, and they feel rough and tough and do a good job cleaning up "stuff". Wet them and ball them up and add scouring powder or soap and they get at the dirt or spills, and usually can be used again at least once more time. I like the feel -- they feel tough and don't tear apart in your hands like many other lesser quality paper shop towels can.The boxing material is minimal, and can probably be recycled. I wonder if the towels need to be white-- not bleaching them would help in water conservation.These towels are "industrial strength" and made for use in restaurants, hotels, etc. I used them to clean my kitchen and bathroom.The wipes hold up well when wet. They are great for cleaning mirrors and windows, as they do not leave lint behind. They work well when cleaning sinks and faucets, countertops, stoves, bathtubs, toilets, etc., as they do not fall apart easily. You definitely get further with these than with a paper towel.They perform much better than standard paper towels, but the price is much higher as well. I don't know that I would use these every day, but it is nice to have a box (or two or three) around for those tough cleaning jobs.These are a good alternative to paper towels for spills, clean up, or wiping that might need more something a little stronger than a paper towel. Why run through a bunch of paper towels when one of these will do the trick. Are these essential? No. But they are convenient and since I don't keep a lot of extra paper towel rolls in storage these sort of save me space as well. Think of these as light, disposable towels.
